Looking for a qualified piano tuner in Southern Ohio? Undoubtedly you want a certified technician with credentials. The eminent piano tuning certification is called Registered Piano Technician (RPT), and I am currently (2024) the only RPT in an eleven county area south of Columbus.

Better Music’s Piano Service Area is in South Central Ohio (US), primarily around Chillicothe and Circleville in Ross and Pickaway Counties and nearby areas.
I am sensitive to the fact that serious piano owners in Ohio Counties of Adams, Athens, Fairfield, Fayette, Gallia, Highland, Hocking, Jackson, Lawrence, Meigs, Pike, Scioto and Vinton may have difficulty finding a Registered Piano Technician to tune their piano. I travel occasionally to areas in Ohio around Gallipolis, Hillsboro, Jackson, Logan, Lucasville, McArthur, Peebles, Portsmouth, Rio Grande, Washington Court House, Waverly, Wellston and West Union, but I ask for additional travel costs for pianos outside my usual service area. Localities outside the state of Ohio are beyond my usual service area. On occasions I have stepped across the Water into Kentucky or West Virginia to serve clients who prefer having an RPT service their instruments, though this is somewhat rare.
